SIGITE Membership Discount
Please be aware that there is a significant discount on registration rates for SIGITE and/or ACM members. For example, early member registration is $290 and early non-member registration is $340, a savings of $50. SIGITE membership costs $20, which makes becoming a member worthwhile. Unfortunately, the registration system does not allow you to become a member as you register. If you wish to obtain the cheaper member rates, you must become a member using the ACM system prior to registering for the conference.
Registration Rates
Early online registration is available until August 31, 2017. Late online registration begins September 1, 2017 and runs through September 30, 2017. Registration after September 30, 2017 must be on-site. Please note that the registration deadline for authors is August 1, 2017. Paper, lightning talk, and poster submissions that do not have any author registered for the conference will be pulled from the proceedings. Panels must have all authors registered for the conference in order to be published. Attendance at both conferences, the chairs’ workshop on Wednesday, the conference reception on Thursday, the conference lunch on Friday, and any other workshops are included in the price listed. The registration system allows you to purchase extra reception and lunch tickets for people accompanying you to Rochester. Extra reception tickets are $40 per person, and extra lunch tickets are $30 per person.

Conference Excursions
This year’s conference attendees will have the opportunity to participate in private excursions Wednesday evening prior to the start of the conference, and Saturday afternoon at the conclusion of the conference. Please note that participation in the excursions requires the purchase of a tickets that are not included in the conference registration fee.
Wednesday night’s excursion will be a tour of the Genesee Brewery Pilot Plant. In addition to seeing how new beers are created, tour participants will be treated to a free flight of craft beers and a selection of light hors d’oeuvres. Additional beer and food will be available for purchase. The excursion will take place on Wednesday, October 4th at 5:00 pm, leaving from the hotel. Transportation to and from the brewery will be provided. The registration system allows you to select an extra ticket for the tour so that someone accompanying you to Rochester can join in the fun. The excursion is limited to 30 participants, so register quickly. All participants must be at least 21 years of age.
Saturday afternoon’s excursion will be a trip to New York wine country. This excursion includes tastings at three different wineries in New York’s famous Finger Lakes Wine Region. The excursion ends with an opportunity to purchase dinner at the NYS Wine and Culinary Center. This tour will take place on Saturday, October 7th at 2:00 pm, leaving from the hotel. Participants will return to the hotel at approximately 7:00 pm. Transportation will be provided. Just as with the Genesee Brewery excursion, the registration system allows you to select an extra ticket for a guest and all participants must be at least 21 years of age. This excursion is also limited to 30 participants.
